Electroconvulsive Therapy and Adverse Effects

Electroconvulsive therapy or ECT is a treatment for those who are severely mentally ill. ECT can greatly reduce symptoms of mania and other mental illness. But, does ECT have consequences? What are ECT's adverse effects? This study will explore ECT's adverse effects as well as its mortality.
