Exercise in Pregnant Women

For a while, there were widespread concerns about pregnant women being told to limit their physical activity during pregnancy because of risks of miscarriage, preterm labor, or harm to the fetus. Now, it is important for a mother to be somewhat active during pregnancy to maintain a healthy gestational weight gain (GWG). There are many forms of physical exercise that can help with GWG, and the type and duration of exercise may vary among individuals.
