
ENT 532 Fall 2024: Stick Bug Caught and Kept as Pet
These photos and this video were taken of a stick insect (Phasmida: Diapheromeridae: Diapheromera femorata) that was caught off a screen door in Pine Grove Mills, PA on Oct. 3, 2024. The stick insect was then kept as a pet named Terrence in a makeshift terrarium, fed with fresh oak and bramble leaves, until its death on Oct. 20, 2024.
