Research brief #3 - Childcare Decisions for Farm Families and Well-Being

Farm families consider a range of factors when deciding how to care for their children while working. In this brief, we draw on survey responses from 860 farm households with children under 18 to examine the factors that influence their decisions. To understand the range of experiences, we also examine how balancing childcare responsibilities, household chores, and work, both on and off the farm, affects their well-being.
