Indigenous Map of Pennsylvania
The intent of this map is to depict the lands of indigenous groups that lived in what is now the State of Pennsylvania circa 1600, prior to the arrival of Europeans and to overlay this information with all the extant campuses of the Pennsylvania State University in 2021.
The map was created using QGIS 3.16.4-Hannover but static images are included should you not have the software. To fully access the map, please download QGIS at https://qgis.org/en/site/# which is a free and open source geographic information system. Once downloaded, use the file, IndigenousMapversion01.qgz to view all layers of the map.
