MOLECULAR SIEVE MATERIAL FROM ANTHRACITE
Special Research Report SR-37 The selective adsorption properties of a Pennsylvania anthracite, having a particle diameter of 6μ, have been investigated before and after the anthracite has been subjected to various process conditions, namely temperature and amount of carbon burn-off. To characterize these adsorption properties of the anthracite, three hydrocarbons were chosen. They were butane, isobutane, and neopentane.
