Colorado potato beetle ENT532

In Rock Spring field at Penn State University, the Colorado potato beetle (family Chrysomelidae) was observed laying a bunch of eggs on the stem of a tomato plant. While a major pest of solanaceous crops, plants from the same family are susceptible, highlighting the potential cross-species impact of this destructive beetle.
