Examining the Effectiveness of Position Sensory Alarms

This evidence-based study examines whether or not the use of position sensory alarms is effective in preventing falls in health care facilities. A literature review was conducted and yielded trial-based research studies in which outcomes of using position sensory alarms were studied. These studies suggest the elimination of position sensory alarms due to the potential harms.
