ENT532 Fall 2024: Morning at Powdermill Nature Reserve

After a night of sleeping on the couch in the hot Raven's Roots cabin, I decided to go on a sunrise walk. I started walking down the road to the Abernathy house, naturally keeping my eyes peeled for birds. However, at 7am nothing was really out and about yet. At least nothing to take pictures of. The main event happening this early in the morning is the sounds and calls from insects and birds. I got to the Abernathy house around 7:30am and sat in front of marsh area near the bird lookout. This image was my view.
