Data Warehouses Full of Stars: NASA’s Information Overload
How has NASA changed the world? What do they do with all the information that they collect every day from satellites in orbit, telescopes out in the solar system, rovers on other planets, and sensors all over the globe. This literature review goes over how NASA has shaped the world we live in and how NASA might change the future. It examines current and past missions that are shaping our knowledge of the planet and the solar system with the James Webb Telescope and advances in supercomputing.
