Malawi measles outbreak 2010

This file contains daily observations of measles cases reporting to health facilities during the 2010 measles outbreak in Malawi. Data were collected through a collaboration between Medicines Sans Frontieres, Epicentre, and the Malawi Ministry of Health. The exact location of health facilities has been jittered to preserve anonymity. Fields include: HFID -- an unique identifier for each health facility Lat -- jittered latitude for health facility Long -- jittered longitude for health facility Area -- health facility catchment area Median Age -- median age of cases (in years) reporting to each health facility VAXPOS -- number of cases reporting with a history of prior vaccination (based on maternal recall -- note that not all cases provided this information) VAXNEG -- number of cases reporting with no history of prior vaccination (based on maternal recall -- note that not all cases provided this information) 7/12/09 (etc) -- the number of cases reporting in the week starting on this date
