Social and Economic Statistics Administration (1972-1975)
The Social and Economic Statistics Administration was established on January 1, 1972 as a transfer from the Bureau of the Census (C 3) and the Office of Business Economics (C 43). The Administration was abolished by the Organization Order 35-1A and 2A on September 4, 1975 when the Bureau of Economic Analysis (C 59) and the Bureau of Census were restored to their independent status.
