
The Effects of Exercise versus No Exercise while Pregnant
The proposed submission is a literature review that aims to answer the PICO question: In women that are pregnant, does practicing regular moderate-intensity exercise compared to inactivity affect pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes, weight gain, hypertension and preterm labor.The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of moderate-intensity exercise versus inactivity in pregnant women and evaluate complication reduction. The literature review includes three qualitative primary research articles and one quantitative primary research article.
