EDC Footprints from Citizen Scientists Across Pennsylvania
Endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) can be found in a variety of household and personal care products. In 2018, 2019, and 2021, citizen scientists were asked to calculate their household’s EDC footprint (https://sites.psu.edu/edccalculator/). This user-friendly web-based application informs users of their estimated EDC footprint based on various household cleaning, laundry, and health/beauty products they own. This dataset shows the results of the footprints calculated by different citizen scientists in 2018 (43 footprints), 2019 (51 footprints), and 2021 (52 footprints).
