Time Dilation: Real Life vs. Media
As Einstein discovered in his Theory of Relativity the faster an object moves, the slower it experiences time compared to an object at rest. The amount of time that passed for the object moving fast vs. the object at rest can be accounted for using time dilation. This phenomenon is easily represented using the Twin Paradox. Although time travel, a very popular concept among the Sci-fi genre, is most likely not possible, time dilation is the next best thing. While studying famous T.V shows and movies such as Interstellar and Star Wars, I was able to see the difference between good vs. bad representations of time dilation in media.
