Does Raising a Successful Calf Begin with Mom?
Successful calf management starts with adequate feeding and management of the dam. The environment and prepartum diet of the dam can impact colostrum quality as well as calf health, growth, and future productivity. This breakout session will focus on recent research concerning nutrition and management of dry cows and how it can affect colostrum quality and calf health.
