Federal Employment Stabilization Office (1934-1939)

The Federal Employment Stabilization Board was established by the Employment Stabilization Act of February 10, 1931. In 1934 the board was abolished and its functions transferred to the Federal Employment Stabilization Office. The functions were transferred in June 1935 to the National Resources Planning Board (Pr 32.200).
