Exploring the Effects of Skin-to-Skin Contact with Mother and Father on Neonates

The proposed submission is a literature review that aims to answer the PICO question: In newborns, what are the effects of skin-to-skin contact with their father compared to skin-to-skin contact with their mother on neonatal outcomes (ex. thermoregulation, stress reduction, bonding)? The purpose of this PICO question is to compare the impact of skin-to-skin contact with the mother versus the father in neonatal outcomes. The literature review includes four quantitative research articles.
