Measurement of Solid Fuel Regression Utilizing Pixel Analysis in an Optical Hybrid Rocket Engine

This poster provides details on the generation of a custom data reduction code. The reduction code analyzed solid fuel regression in a optically accessible hybrid rocket engine. Making tens-of-thousands of measurements, the code successful create a large matrix of different combustion characteristics inside the hybrid with respect to axial locations and time indices.
