Radiocarbon Dates

This collection was originally issued on index cards during the 1970s. Approximately 39,000 cards were issued. Each card contains information on the location (continent, country, state or region, latitude/longitude), type of material, laboratory where analysis was completed, lab number for sample, approximate age of sample, description and reference where originally published in the American Journal of Science, Radiocarbon Supplement between 1959-1972. Eight index volumes, organized by geographic location, provided access to the collection.
