THE RADIATION CHEMISTRY OF COAL IN VARIOUS ATMOSPHERES

Special Research Report SR-20 The radiation chemistry of selected Pennsylvania bituminous coals and the reactions of the coals with various gases in the presence of radiation were studied under static conditions. Special attention was given to radiative oxidation, which had been reported to produce beneficial Geiseler fluidity changes with some of the coals.
