Circumcision in Male Newborns

This study is intended to reveal health complications that can be prevented as well as the risks that are involved when a newborn is circumcised. Along with the benefits that this procedure provides, both physical and mental aspects from birth until adolescence was tracked. This question was chosen due to the high prevalence of circumcisions in the health care community. Currently, 57% of infants are being circumcised as of 2010 (Morris et al., 2017). Educating parents as well as other members in health care is crucial in this elective procedure. The main goal was to prove the benefits of infant circumcision outweigh the risks of omitting the procedure. This was achieved through evidence-based practice research.
