Screen Time and Behavior Problems in Adolescents

Screen time’s effect on children has become a hot topic in recent years. This project explores the relationship between children’s screen time, internalizing and externalizing behavior problems. Peer-reviewed journal articles were gathered using Penn State Libraries and APA PsychInfo. Results show there is a statistically significant correlation between children’s screen time and problem behavior; however, the strength of the relationship is affected by many moderators.

This project was the first place winner in the Research Poster category and received the University Libraries Award for Information Literacy
