Scheduling Snafus: Hybrid work schedules during COVID-19

In March 2020, the PSU Interlibrary Loan department transitioned to remote work in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. After working remotely for five months, the team returned to what felt like a very different library in July 2020. In compliance with our state and university safety and distancing protocols, the Interlibrary Loan department instituted a hybrid schedule, reducing the number of staff on site at any given time. This presentation details the challenges presented by COVID-19 and the steps that the department took to gain much-needed staff support as the pandemic persisted. This was presented as a pre-recorded lightning round during the 2021 Northwest Interlibrary Loan Conference. The presentation can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW_oEWxuY1Y&t=1s
