
Nature's Path: How Hiking Elevates Well-Being
Hiking as a way to get aerobic exercise while in a nature-based environment has potential to enhance the mood and reduce the stress of individuals. College students can be considered at high risk for changes in mood and increase in stress when taking into account facets of college such as workload. The current project emphasizes the impacts of aerobic exercise, particularly hiking, on aspects of well-being.
