Developing a Ranking Criteria for Identities, Assets, and Data to Assist in Security Operations Automation Decision Making

This research paper proposes a format and method for developing a ranking criteria for Identities, Assets, and Data on Information Systems. This is for the purpose of assisting Security Operations automation decision making. This format and criteria was developed by reviewing existing ranking criteria, the current state of cybersecurity, and the requirements of security operation teams. The research conducted for this paper reveals that existing ranking criteria can be combined and applied for this purpose but requires further customization by the organization that is utilizing it.
