Detection of Malingering on Neuropsychological Evaluations: Strategies and Basic Data.

Specific methods to detect simulation, inadequate effort and malingering on neuropsychological evaluations will be reviewed. The impact of base rates on the detection of simulation and on specificity and sensitivity from a sample of neuropsychological evaluations will be described. The participants will review practice protocols to determine validity status.
