Teachers' Perspectives of Children with ADHD

This study examines teachers’ and early elementary education undergraduate students’ perceptions of children with ADHD. The study presents participants with six various vignettes of children with various races, ages and genders. It was predicted that participants would view children more negatively based on their ADHD diagnosis and gender. It was also predicted that participants of younger ages would have less bias towards children with ADHD than older participants. Results followed hypotheses as predicted.
