Discovery of a layered multiferroic compound Cu1-xMn1+ySiTe3 with strong magnetoelectric coupling

This data package includes information on sample preparation, growth conditions and characterization results for the Cu1-xMn1+ySiTe3 bulk single crystals (Type A, Type B and Type C) reported in Table S1 in the Supplementary Materials for the manuscript entitled “Discovery of a layered multiferroic compound Cu1-xMn1+ySiTe3 with strong magnetoelectric coupling” by Chandan De et al. The bulk single crystals were synthesized by using the melt-growth method in the NSF 2D Crystal Consortium facility. The data includes recipe files and SEM data files.
