Minerals, Magic, and Science
Although the epistemology of mineral healing is pretty fungible, most practitioners of this alternative medicine agree on one very unscientific proposition: that minerals act as a conduit for natural healing energy between the stone and the body. Why is it unscientific? Because it turns out that energy is something that scientists can measure, and mineralogists are particularly good at measuring the flow of energy from one object to another.
