Bee Bee Tree Control

Invasive bee bee tree is non-native tree from East Asia. This small flowering ornamental is a rising invasive not only within the Penn State Mont Alto campus, but throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Research on this plant has been limited to ornamental focuses; providing limited knowledge about this tree as an invasive. This ongoing field study investigates the effectiveness of various herbicide treatments and application methods for management. The study's purpose is to contribute to the active control of this species while simultaneously providing useful information to both public landowners and forest health researchers.
