Aphids

They were found on the front porch of my house scattered around along with many ants. It was after a rainfall and the weather was warm compared to the weather that had persisted in the last few days before (icy cold and windy). I wondered if the warm weather somehow triggered the ants and the aphids to behave as if it were summer and they should come out of their nest to forage for food. I also wondered if these aphids were farmed by ants in the first place for any sugary treat.
