How Apple Watches Improve Our Health Mindset Through Self-monitoring
This study examined the relationship between mobile health technology and health mindset in males. The chosen technology was the Apple watch, and the study evaluated the health benefits and engagement that people have towards it to evaluate their behavioral intentions. To accomplish this, qualitative interviews were conducted on twelve participants. The results showed that the Apple watch can help an individual to stay healthy and has multiple features that people can use to achieve their health goals. Limitations of the study along with key areas of future research are proposed.
