Social Engineering: An In-Depth Investigation

Social Engineering attacks the most vulnerable victim of all - "The Average Human". The average human being is someone who is trusting of those around them. Social Engineering can take the form of impersonation, bribery, or deception to obtain personal information. One of the most popular methods of Social Engineering is called Phishing, which is the practice of sending emails or webpages appearing to be from a reputable source with the goal of gaining more information through users' inputting their personal information.
