The US Survey for Faint Blue Objects (1987)

The US survey covers ≡135 square degrees of sky contained within the central areas of six separate fields with |b| > 30°. The CC1-type objects within these regions are expected to be cataloged with high completeness to magnitude limits of up to B ≈ 18.7. The US catalogs can therefore provide well-defined complete samples of starlike objects with colors bluer and/or more ultraviolet than halo F/G subdwarfs and main-sequence A stars.
