The Official List of the Birds of Pennsylvania.
The Official List of the Birds of Pennsylvania was last published in 2018 (Pennsylvania Birds V32(1), 23-28). The Pennsylvania Ornithological Records Committee (PORC) is tasked, per their bylaws, to review every species on the state list, and publish an Official State List every five years. Between 2023 and 2024, PORC revised the State List. The list below reflects accepted records as of April 27, 2024. PORC reviews records submitted to our website as well and those submitted to eBird (if the eBird record includes media and has been approved by the regional eBird reviewer).
