Back to Sleep: Reducing the Risk of Sudden Infant Deaths in Infants
This project explores current research related to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), with a focus on sleep positioning, caregiver education, and bed time strategies to reduce SIDS incidence. Four peer-reviewed studies published after 2019 were analyzed to assess the impact of safe sleep practices and educational interventions. Findings highlight the importance of supine sleep positioning and consistent public health messaging in lowering SIDS rates.
