Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune disorder that triggers an immune response to the ingestion of gluten, attacking the walls of the small intestine. This paper looks at a 21-year-old male, Patient A, who was recently suspected to present with CD and undergone tests to determine if the condition is present. The pathology and etiology of CD are briefly explained. Patient A’s specific case is described and followed by the prognosis he has of managing this life-long condition.
