Data is organized by date according to Table 3 in the article. Three types of data are presented: LISST (Sequoia Scientific) particle spectra, Microscope images, and ac9 (Wetlabs) spectral attenuation. All available data of each type is organized in subfolders for each experimental date.
Data files are further organized by aggregation condition described in the article (measurements of particles in the Aggregation Tank, Breakup Tank, and measurements of the Primary Particles). Data files are also labeled by siphon number, which correspond to the flow conditions described in Table 2 in the article.
LISST data: Comma Separated Value (CSV) files contain the LISST data for each experimental condition. These files include the measurement time (time), the particle attenuation coefficient (c_p,lisst), and the particle volume spectra (V) as a function of particle size (D). The entire time-series measurement is provided.
Microscope images: Flocs were imaged with a microscope as described in the article. When available, all raw images (including background images for processing) are provided and organized as described above.
ac9 data: CSV files of the data from the ac9 instruments contain the water temperature (Temperature), water salinity (Salinity), the measurement time (time), the wavelengths of the instrument (lambda), and the particle attenuation coefficient at each wavelength (c_p). The entire time-series measurement is provided.
