Give a Little, Get a Lot: The Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) and the Penn State Libraries (and You!) Public

This spring the Penn State Libraries became part of the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) as one of nineteen institutions contributing to the new Pennsylvania Service Hub. For nearly two years, Penn State Libraries have been working with colleagues throughout the Commonwealth to make our digital collections widely and freely available in the DPLA. This session will tell a little about the process of joining the DPLA, and a lot about what the Libraries get out of it. It will also introduce what you can get out of the DPLA.
