Teaching Copyright and Negotiation via Roleplaying Public

This case study describes using role-playing to teach faculty (and graduate students) to negotiate their publishing contracts in library workshops. Role play, a common teaching technique for law school or business school, is also well-suited to copyright instruction in a library setting. The case study will include discussion of how to design teaching materials, including "role sheets" and mock contracts.
