A History of Princeton Swimming and Diving, Including the Story of How Swimming and Diving Came To Be an Intercollegiate Sport in the United States (3rd edn)

This history covers the competitive swimming programs for men and women at Princeton University, begun in 1904 and 1970, respectively, including the new college club swimming program begun in 2005 as well as activities of Princeton alumni in water-related sports such as masters swimming, open-water swimming, triathlons, professional swimming, diving, boating (rowing, dragon boat racing, kayaking, etc.), body surfing, medical research, art and commerce, coaching, and Navy Seal Team One. Historical context is provided for the formation of these sports in general in the US with some attention to developments abroad as well.
